At Downtown Yoga, our top priority is ensuring you're taken care. To help you reach your results, we have designed a variety of programs accessible to beginner and advanced students to help you build a happier, healthier and solid yoga foundation that coincides with your Downtown Yoga practice.
Class Programs
Every class at Downtown Yoga has students with diverse levels of yoga experience. We welcome everyone! Although the classes can be physically challenging, students will find Downtown Yoga to be a truly non-judgemental environment. We have designed a variety of classes accessible to all and to help students build a solid yoga foundation. Choose a program that fits your current yoga goals and find those classes on our weekly schedule.
Stretch Beginners, Slower Practice, Gentle Stretches
- Yin Yoga: Targets the connective tissues, ligaments, joints and synovial fluid of the body by holding postures 2-5 minutes
- Gentle Yoga: A great practice for beginners or experienced students who want a gentler, slower paced and less strenuous class
- Hatha Yoga: All Levels, learn the fundamentals of alignment and modifications, includes Sun Salutations and Flowing sequences at a slightly faster pace
- Recommended Workshops: Restorative Yoga, Breath and Meditation
Strengthen Intermediate, Faster Paced Flow, Deeper Postures (modifications always provided)

- Recommended Workshops: Restorative, Intro to Arm Balancing, Intro to Backbends
Strong Advanced, Focus on strength and Balance
- Hatha Yoga: All levels, learn the fundamentals of alignment and modifications, includes Sun Salutations and Flowing sequences at a slightly faster pace
- Ashtanga Yoga Basics: Linking breath with movement while moving through a set series of postures from the primary sequence
- Power Yoga: Emphasis on movement, balance and intention; combines strength, flow and balance
- Workshops: Arm Balances, Backbends, Peak Pose & Flow

Karma Community Program
Downtown Yoga's Karma Community Program provides the yoga community the opportunity to take fantastic yoga classes at a discounted rate. In 2010, Downtown Yoga raised over $4,000 for local non-profits, such as: Brevard Health Alliance, We Promise, Women's Center of Brevard, Department of Children and Family and many more.

Yoga 101
These 4-6 week specialtyprograms are the perfect way to introduce yourself to the fantastic benefits yoga has to offer. Fee: $56 if you sign up 1 month prior to start date or $65.
- Intro to Yoga: This course includes everything you need for a seamless introduction to yoga. A small class size allows for plenty of individual teacher assistance.
- Restore Your Core: Beginner friendly, all level; interested in restoring your core? Check out this class! Learn a series of static beginner yoga postures performed in a precise order.
- Power Yoga: Perfect for those who are interested in increasing strength, flexibility and balance to help tone your body and manage mental stress.

Buddha Camp

Teacher Training
Are you searching for a way to develop and deepen your individual yoga practice?
Downtown Yoga's suite of programs include the 200-hour Teacher Training, a foundational teacher training program for serious students and aspiring teachers and the 300-hour professional program, a secondary teacher training program for developing teachers and continuing education programs to further your studies.
The 200-hour teacher training is offered in several formats:
- 5-week immersion Monday-Friday 8am-6:30pm
- Cost: $4,000 (save 10% if you sign up 8 weeks prior to training date)*
- 12-month program $1900 (paid in full one month prior to training dates) or $2,400 2 payments*
*Does not include reading materials, $50 non-refundable application fee or yoga alliance yearly fees
Yoga Retreat
Are you looking to escpate to yoga paradise? Downtown Yoga offers a variety of yoga retreats throughout the year in Mexico, Aruba, Napa Valley and Costa Rica. Our most experienced instructors lead each of our yoga retreats, so you'll get to immerse yourself in a number of fabulous yoga classes and other activities on each retreat.
