Beyond Basic Yoga

Our Ashtanga Basics and Hatha Yoga classes move through exploration of your body and your life in a fluid movement, deepening your practice as you gently but powerfully expand and release old ideas about what your bhody can or cannot do.

If you hope to in expand your practice to a more vigorous vinyasa flow linking breath and motion, you may want to check out the Level 1 Ashtanga class.

Experienced Practitioner and one who is up for a mental and physical challenge

You will enjoy Downtown Yoga's Ashtanga Primary Series, Ashtanga Level 1, Ashtanga Mix, Flow 1 & 2 and Core Yoga classes. These vigorous and energizing yoga classes will challenge your mind and body. The postures work synergistically and cumulatively to put the body back on track and in balance. You are guaranteed to build strength, balance, flexibility by gently stretching and massaging the spine, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and all internal organs of the body.
